IF I HAD A MILLION

Well a close Friend of mine prompted me to pen down my thoughts given the situation that I am in.

Do we dare dream? Of course for dreams are free, they do not cost a cent.

But here are a list of things I would do had I been blessed with 1 million ringgit.

1) The first thing would be to pay the outstanding dialysis bills of an old Uncle where I undergo my dialysis. He does not turn up as he owes the centre money and has no source of income.

2) Take my Dad to Amritsar, Hazur Sahib, Nankana Sahib and Patna Sahib to complete his pilgrimage as he turns 84 in March. Dad wants me to take him to The Golden Temple, a trip I can ill-afford at this time.

3) At the end of each year to buy needy children books and uniforms and other essentials for the coming school year.

4) Get former state players in Negri Sembilan to adopt one school each and train kids in hockey and Psy for this essential part that will keep the sport alive.

5) Rope in former internationals to help start a program for sikh kids to excel in field events such as javelin, discuss, shot putt, hammer throw and high jump.

6) Start a young kids hockey program - a 3 on 3 modified game that will create interest and competitiveness amongst those below 7 years old to pick Hockey as their chosen sport.

6) Provide education aid to budding Hockey players so as to help lift the burden from talented Hockey players who should excel both on and off the pitch.

7) Open a dialysis centre in Tampin to cater for the needy and will be a non profit centre to assist those who cannot get the same at government Hospitals.

8) Run Hockey information websites that will provide news to all.

9) Returf the Hockey pitch at TBSS Tampin

10) Pay for my second eye cornea transplant and cataract, plus do a kidney transplant as well as keep enough aside for my thrice weekly dialysis,

There you go, my priorities if given RM1 million or I have that kind of money.

As it stands I have not earned a single cent since April 2015 with the exception of the SOJC job and money raised by the ex-internationals which I am returning. I have returned money handed to me by a couple of others who I felt were not honest in trying to help me.

God bless you all.
