It has been a week where everything went wrong.
Last Monday my dialysis centre that I normally go to caught fire and I was forced to seek dialysis elsewhere.
Then that same evening, I started bleeding from the neck as the device was blocked.
Hence another surgery on Tuesfay morning but that was not the end of the woes.
My regular transporter to dialysis quit due to medical reasons and now not only do I have to travel further for dialysis, but have to source for taxis.
Life is not easy, not when some go out of the way to put sand in ones rice bowl.
Even in this condition I have to provide for my aged Father but I will plod on till me last breath.

In life, we come to realise there are few true friends, let alone those who will stand by your side when things are bad.
Losing kidneys was bad enough but I am thankful to God for letting me know who my true friends are.
Some sell their souls for power, position, contracts and benefits in this world mad with gaining popularity.
I had, I repeat HAD so called friends who looked at me for help, assistance, guidance when they were out of the system.
But today they feel that being associated with me is perceived to be guilty by association.
I severed a good friendship last Saturday, all because I felt that the person not only betrayed my trust but also of others who stood by him. I wish him well and pray for him.
I was also told that the President of a national sports body has initiated legal proceedings against me, for what the PR stooge claims to be slander and defamation.
I believe that we live in a democratic country and every person is entitled to their opinion, similarly when vested interest if okay for some but not others.
That is why I returned the financial assistance provided to me by one and turned down an offer from another. I rather be blind in my eye then be blind in my heart.
Today I failed another dialysis, as my blood started clotting and I can sense things going downhill.
So hurry up and try to silence me, for God might beat you to it, and all the money is this world will not help.
Remember that money is merely dirt on ones hands, wash it and the dirt goes away.
Till I blog again, my prayers for those who want to see the end of me. God will eventually decide, not you not me.
